Suffolk Tango aims to promote tango argentino in Suffolk. We are an enthusuastic group whose aim is to build an Argentine Tango community in Suffolk and to this end we run dances (milongas) practicas (practice sessions) and encourage teachers to run classes and workshops. Last year we supported classes in Ipswich, Halesworth and Diss (run by Kate and Tony of www.tangoabrazo.com), we also ran milongas (tango dance nights) in Stratford St Andrew and Bungay (with Kate and Tony), and had regular practicas (practice sessions) in Woodbridge. For this year's events join the email list by contacting Cliff or Kevin or go to the Suffolk Diss Tango Yahoo Group. We aim to work with adjacent groups in Norfolk, Essex and Cambridge. If you would like to help organise events elsewhere in the county, for example in Bury St Edmunds, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Wickham Market, Framlingham, Leiston, Mildenhall, Haverhill, Newmarket, Southwold, Sudbury or nearby in Colchester then please contact us and we will help make it happen.
