Suffolk Tango offers a mix of classes at different locations, on different days and at different levels. Please note that for some of the workshops you must book in advance - many of the teachers are very popular but we want retain manageable class sizes so that everyone can get some personal attention.
Special Improvers Workshop at Kesgrave High School
on Wed 12 June
with Caro Hosier
This special workshop is aimed at those who have recently completed a beginners course, but is open to anyone who feels they would benefit from, or would simple just enjoy, a workshop aimed at this level.
7:30 to 10pm including 90 minute class and practica time at Kesgrave High School, Main Road, Kesgrave, Ipswich, IP5 2PB. Drop-in class, no need to book, £5 (but included if you are on the current beginners' course).

Caro is an experienced and highly talented instructor and performer, with over 12 years teaching experience. Her focus is on connection and the tools for creating the dialogue between dancers, regardless of whether dancing traditional or nuevo, close or open embrace tango, vals or milonga.
Her teaching base for regular classes and privates is the Factory Fitness and Dance Centre (North London).
Caro also works with an Argentinian partner - Oliver Kolker (tango experience) to run regular and highly successful tours to Buenos Aires

Wednesday Classes at East Bergholt

Due to a prior booking we cannot have the hall every Wednesday so please check dates before you travel.
No bar on class nights so bring your own drinks and nibbles as necessary.
- 7:30 to 9:00 for those with less than 2 years experience and who have completed a beginners course, 60 minute class followed by 30 minutes of practica
- 8:30 to 10:00 for those with at least 2 years active tango experience and who are confident in the basic techniques, 30 minute practica followed by 60 minutes class
- 10:00 to 10:30 all levels - dancing/practica

Learn to Dance Argentine Tango
Wednesdays in March 2013 at Kesgrave
Learn to dance the elegant, evocative social dance of Argentine Tango. The course (part 1) runs on Wednesdays at 7:45pm starting on 6th March 2013 for 5 weeks at Kesgrave High School, IP5 2PB. After part 1 we will run another set of 5 sessions, you will then be able to move on to a variety of other classes in the area.Teachers – Richard & Mandy are part of the Suffolk Tango teaching team. They will teach you the essential elements of Argentine tango so that by the end of the course you should be able to lead or follow your partner with confidence.Prior booking essential, but no need to book with a partner. Bookings will be confirmed once we have checked leader and follower numbers (if you can bring a partner all the better). We always rotate partners to speed the learning process and to make the evening more fun. £35 per person for five 2-hour sessions plus a CD of the best traditional Argentine music to listen to/practise with at home. Apply now because places are limited and we only run this course once every 6 months (NB: over 18s only).
